Many people know that, beyond being a theme park, Ocean Park Hong Kong is also a safe haven for many animals. Its Animal Care Specialists team work tirelessly every day to protect Hong Kong’s endangered species. At this sharing session, we have invited two Animal Care Specialists from Ocean Park who look after corals and horseshoe crabs.

They will come to the Science Museum to share their frontline conservation experiences, including

How coral babies grow from tiny specks into beautiful colonies 

How they care for and conserve horseshoe crabs, often described as “living fossils” 

Heartwarming stories from their daily care of endangered species

The real threats these endangered little creatures face in the wild

On 8 August, join us for the Animal Parents Sharing Session to learn more about frontline conservation work and understand the many challenges faced by Hong Kong’s endangered species.
